F&B Concessions Supervisor
The Food & Beverage Supervisor assists in monitoring and managing the operations of concession tents, ensuring efficient service and quality control. This role involves supervising staff, assisting with daily operations, and filling in during busy times or when staff members are absent.
This is a SEASONAL position with an expected start date on or around October 12th and end date on or around January 8th.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the operations of permanent and portable stands, bars, sub-contracted locations, and vending operations during all events.
- Support the establishment of food, beverage, and operational needs for event and non-event days.
- Supervise and direct all concession, bar, and non-profit organization staff, including supervisors, in preparation, service, clean-up, and stocking to ensure quality control standards.
- Train concessions, bar, and non-profit organization staff, including cashiers and stand attendants, to ensure high-quality, efficient, and profitable food service.
- Ensure compliance with security, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Enforce responsible alcohol service policies.
- Maintain inventory levels for distribution and controls.
- Be familiar with food and beverage service equipment.
- Manage effectively in a fast-paced, diverse environment, focusing on client and guest services, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
- Demonstrate proficiency in proven computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and POS systems.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ensure that events' food and beverage aspects meet all safety and security requirements for participants and vendors.
- Maintain compliance with all state and county health and safety standards.
- Attend meetings related to events to stay updated on food and beverage needs and products.
- Take corrective actions as necessary to maintain effective event services and products.
- Manage logistics involved with the advancement and onsite production of beverage programs.
- Oversee staff onsite at events.
- Solve dynamic problems at event sites and departmental reports relating to customer and operational needs.
- Keep accurate inventory records of products and goods at events.
- Handle minor accounting during settlement processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior experience in Concessions operating in outdoor event concessions
- Prior supervisory experience helpful, with preference to leading F&B service teams in high-volume environments; experience in live event concessions, festivals or large-scale catering preferred.
- Must be familiar with food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards
- Prior experience and proficiency in operating POS systems and handling a variety of transaction types
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences in all conditions
- Basic math skills required for handling payments and reconciling sales transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and experience with Google Docs and Google Drive helpful
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Must be able to assist with physical set-up of tables and service equipment, some of which weighing in excess of 50 lbs.
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time and Part-Time Seasonal roles with schedule flexibility based on business needs.
- Work on-site required during event dates, preview and post-production.
- Evening, weekend, and extended on-site commitments are expected during installation, rehearsals, event operations and dismantle.
- On-site and event work will include outdoor site locations of varying weather conditions as well as active construction or production settings.

Starting Rate of Pay $20.00 per hour
