F&B Concessions Staff
Concessions Staff play a key role in executing food and beverage service during the event, with a focus on guest experience, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Staff are responsible for operating the concession window, processing transactions, serving food and beverages (including beer and wine), and maintaining a clean and welcoming work environment. This role also assists with the setup and breakdown of concession areas, equipment staging, and inventory handling under the direction of the Concession Supervisor.
This is a SEASONAL position with an expected start date on or around November 9th and end date on or around January 8th.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate service window of an outdoor tented station to take guest orders for food and beverage offerings
- Verify ID’s for alcohol sales, as needed
- Enter all items ordered into Point-of-Sales (POS) system
- Prepare and present ordered items to guests as detailed to maintain consistent service delivery
- Follow proper sanitation and alcohol compliance procedures while executing prompt and friendly service
- During Pre-Event Setup shifts, assist in setting up assigned concession tent(s), including unpacking supplies, setting up equipment and displays, stocking inventory, and assisting in preparing the service area for operational readiness in accordance with event standards.
- During Post-Event Breakdown shifts, assist with dismantling and packing up assigned concession tent(s), including cleaning, restocking, organizing, and securely storing supplies and equipment. Staff may also assist in returning equipment to the warehouse, participate in light inventory work, and ensure that work areas are cleaned and closed down in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, volunteers, and guests.
- A customer service-driven mindset focused on delivering a positive guest experience.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented event environment.
- Proficient in POS systems and basic math for transaction handling and sales reporting.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temperatures).
- Ability to problem-solve and appropriately escalate issues as they are encountered in the field Physically capable of lifting, loading, and maneuvering concession equipment during setup and breakdown.
- Must be able to assist with physical set-up of tables and service equipment, some of which weighing in excess of 50 lbs, as well as to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. *Reasonable accommodations will be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.*
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time and Part-Time Seasonal roles with schedule flexibility based on business needs. Typical schedule includes 35-40 hours per week.
- Work on-site required during event dates, preview and post-production.
- Evening, weekend, and extended on-site commitments are expected during installation, rehearsals, event operations and dismantle.
- On-site and event work will include outdoor site locations of varying weather conditions as well as active construction or production settings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Rate of Pay $18.00 per hour, plus tip pool
