As an Assistant On-Site Logistics Coordinator, you will support the coordination and execution of event logistics, ensuring that all assets are managed efficiently during load-in, run-of-show, and load-out. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
Position Overview:
- Assist the Logistics Coordinator in receiving, processing, and organizing materials and equipment upon arrival.
- Support the setup of all Back-of-House (BOH) spaces, including asset storage, shipping container placement, and tent builds.
- Help maintain adherence to load-in and load-out standards to prevent loss or damage of materials.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records by tracking equipment, tools, and materials.
- Participate in pre-shift and post-shift meetings to align logistics with event goals.
- Work closely with build leads to distribute assets as needed.
- Monitor stock levels of essential materials and communicate shortages to the logistics team.
- Help oversee packing and palletizing at the end of the event.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 0-1 years of experience in event logistics required.
- Knowledge of logistics, site setup, and asset management.
- Forklift Certification is required.
- Proficiency and confidence in using all basic power tools and hand tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong skills in record keeping and computer systems.
- Ability to to complete physically demanding tasks, such as standing and/or walking for long periods in.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temperatures).
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. **Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.**
- Must work well in a team-based environment, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have critical thinking and problem solving ability.
Dates: This is a temporary full-time position. Dates listed below are working dates. 5 days a week required including weekends. Build Leads & Crew will work approximately 40 hours per week during install and strike periods.
- October: 10/27/25-10/31/25
- November: 11/4/25-11/26/25
- January: 1/6/26-1/16/26
Pay Details: Hourly rate $23
Higher rates may be offered for potential staff with significant experience. Payments will be made weekly.
